Beginning 2017 is an ode to Toronto talent with techno babe Jade alongside locals Simon Jain, Leo Franco, & Just B on January 6. Next, The Kids Want Techno Vol. 5 casts Jamie Kidd, Ticky TY, Andy Aires, Quim, & Oddio on January 7, and Spanish sensation Dennis Cruzbrings the heat on January 13. On January 14 Concept Vol. 3 returns withJeremey Scott, Guyus Grey, & more, plus Green Velvet brings down the (Chicago) house on January 20. Get wild with Jungle Funk featuring Deko-ze on January 21, then begin celebrating CODA’s 3rd anniversary withLaurent Garnier on January 26, and don’t quit dancing until YokoO closes out the party on January 28.

Friday January 13: Dennis Cruz

Get out of the cold and onto the dance floor as Dennis Cruz heats up CODA with his fiery brand of tech-house. Madrid-native, Beatport top-charter, andLemon-Aid Music bossman—If anyone can help us beat the freezing temperatures, it’s this Spanish sensation. Nominated for “Best Spanish Tech-House Artist” and “Best Male Spanish Artist” at the 2015 Vicious Music Awards, Cruz is a name revered by fans and critics alike. Helping to ignite the evening are Toronto locals Jonathan Rosa, City Kid Soul, and BBLK.

Saturday January 14: Concept [Beyond the Music] Vol. 3

On January 14 Concept [Beyond the Music] makes it’s third appearance at CODA, offering not only a platform for some of Toronto’s best talent, but also a chance to experiment with the lighting and decor at one of Toronto’s favorite venues. As the name suggests, the Concept showcase goes beyond the music by adjusting the space’s interior design, effectively making each event unique from the last. This volume includes Jeremy Scott, Guyus Grey,Roland Gozales, Sebastien Del Mundo and, as always, a fresh take on the club’s atmosphere.

Friday January 20: Green Velvet
Is Toronto ever not excited for a visit from industry icon Green Velvet? Originating from Chicagothe city that birthed house musicand active in the scene since 1991, Green Velvet is the epitome of seasoned talent. After a major tour last year with Claude Vonstroke under the unstoppable pairing Get Real, Green Velvet makes his first Toronto appearance in 2017 to showcase his solo talents. Mixing years of experience with modern sensibilities, this is one DJ not to be missed. Support on this evening comes from hometown favorites Addy, Jayforce, and Casualties of Sound.

Saturday January 21: Jungle Funk with Deko-ze

They don’t call Deko-ze “Canada’s Hardest Working DJ” for nothing. With over 20 years of funky-house-music experience, the Jungle Tekk Recordingsco-owner will be highlighting some of his label’s premier talent during this special Showcase Tekk event. As a label head, Deko-ze searches for artists who produce high-energy tracks that serve one central purpose: to make a crowd dance. With this objective in mind, join Deko-ze, Joee Cons,Ouim,  & a ton more as they show off their wild and untamed style of house music.

Thursday January 26: CODA’s 3-Year Anniversary with Laurent Garnier

Champagne, anyone? It’s CODA’s third year in the Toronto music circuit and they’re celebrating with an extended weekend of events, kicking off onThursday January 26 with techno veteran Laurent Garnier. Raw and eclectic in his approach, it’s no wonder Garnier has been internationally adored for the 25 years he’s been on the scene. From DJing, to hosting his own radio show, to composing scores for film, theatre, and televisionGarnier has done just about everything in his power to share his love for music. With so much experience behind him, and having likely celebrated a number of anniversaries himself, Garnier is just the man to help commemorate this milestone.

Saturday January 28: CODA’s 3-Year Anniversary with YokoO

What better way to celebrate three years of CODA than with a DJ who shares the same dynamic approach to music as the venue itself? Enter German house producer YokoO; who’s seductive sound has landed him on such major labels as All Day I Dream, Get Physical, and Plastic City. With a discography full of bright and earthy tracks, YokoO is the perfect pick to light up the dance floor on this special evening. Also making an appearance are two talented duos: Montreal pairing In2Deep and Dirtybird‘s Toronto team Talal & Zoi
