Coming off the recent success of 5-track EP Bloom, Canadian DJ/producer ATTLAS announces the release of his latest track “Blood Work” featuring Chelsea Jade, out now via mau5trap. In keeping with the artist’s signature style, “Blood Work” uses a soft melody to create a wistful mood full of smooth chords complemented by breathy vocals. With natural storytelling ability, ATTLAS uses sound to build a world that encourages peace and relaxation with a touch of mystery.

A classically trained musician and multi-instrumentalist, ATTLAS draws from all areas of the musical spectrum—jazz, classical, rock, techno, experimental—to produce his own distinct sound. Named “One To Watch” by Billboard this year and with critically acclaimed remixes of hits from Tove Lo, Aphex Twin and Rihanna under his belt, he first caught the industry’s attention with his remix of deadmau5’s “Aural Psynapse” in 2014. Largely due to his private nature, many speculated that ATTLAS was in fact a side project of deadmau5 himself.  After being officially “outed” by Pete Tong, Jeff Hartford, the man behind the ATTLAS project, joined the likes of Nero, Zed’s Dead, and Alison Wonderland on tour. More recently, he performed a whirlwind of back to back sets with deadmau5 and joined him for writing sessions on the North American mau5hax Bus Tour.
